Here are a few of the most commonly asked questions:

How does the computer teach someone?
The computer delivers a multimedia presentation of educational materials and then asks the students questions about the information presented.

 What is multimedia?
The computer may be using different formats to present the information.  Text may be displayed, along with drawings, graphics, photographs, voice, animation, sound effects, 3-D simulation, music and video.

 What kind of computer do I need?
Depending on how you will access the courses, the basic requirements needed are a 486 CPU with 256k cache, Microsoft Windows 95 or NT, a 4x CD ROM drive and 16 MB of RAM.

What is a CD ROM?
CD ROMs are flat plastic CDs similar to music CDs, which store and playback information. CD ROM is an acronym for Compact Disk - Read Only Memory drive.

What are on line courses or web courses?
On line courses, also known as web courses, are available on the Internet to use at your convienience. This could be in the comfort of your office or home.

How do I register?
Simply print out the registration form, fill it in, and fax it to the Business and Industry department at 402-562-1456, or mail it to:

You must include a check or money order. You will then be contacted within 24 hours via e-mail, phone, or registered mail concerning your user ID and password.
